The small print:

Winter £nergy saving window and door price promise (the price promise):

1. The price promise offer is open from 09:00 am Thursday 17th November 2011 until 17:00 pm 23^rd December 2011

2. The price promise is offered upon confirmation that the competitors quote is considered like for like by, and at the sole discretion of, Malvern Glass

3. In the event that a price match is agreed by Malvern Glass, the offer remains valid for 24 hours

4. The 10% difference between the Malvern Glass quote and the competitors quote is paid as a discount from the total order value.

5. The competitor must:

a. be FENSA registered (or a valid member of an equivalent authorised competent persons scheme)

b. be trading from a permanent business premises

c. provide a 10-year insurance backed warranty as standard

6. The competitors contract and quotation must:

a. be for the supply of glazed PVC-U, aluminium or composite external windows and/or doors

b. have a total value of least £500.00 (including VAT)

c. be not more than 30 days old (when presented)

d. be presented in its original hard copy form and in person to a Malvern Glass representative and a copy permitted to be taken

e. have comparable terms and conditions of sale and payment

7. The products quoted  must be at least equal in terms of:

a. quantity

b. colour

c. frame dimension sizes

d. thermal performance

e. glazing specification including type, brand, materials and warranty

f. hardware (e.g. lock, handle, hinge) specification including type, brand, materials and warranty

g. British standards and accreditations

8. The installation service must be at least equal  in terms of:

a. installer qualifications

b. trimming, sealing and cleaning

c. disposal of items removed and other site waste

9. Malvern Glass reserves the right to withdraw the price promise without notice

10. In the event that a competitors quotation is confirmed by Malvern Glass as like for like, and Malvern Glass cannot match that offer, we will pay the customer 10% of the difference in price (including VAT) provided that all of the conditions are met.

11. The price promise limited to one claim per customer or household

12. The price promise is not offered retrospectively on orders already placed.
